OUR CAUSES

Food insecurity and malnutrition are major challenges where one-third of all Afghans are food insecure. Decades of conflict, the influx of returnees, and natural disasters are all contributing factors.

Because of four decades of sustained conflict many afghan children, completing primary school remains a distant dream - especially in rural areas and for girls - despite recent progress in raising enrollment.

Convention on the Rights of the Child has become the most widely ratified human rights treaty in history and has helped transform children's lives around the world where progress  has been made over past 15 years.

Art has been part of our culture for hundreds of years. The oldest oil painting on earth is from Bamyan, but in the modern age, artists are drawing inspirations from many other sources for their artworks.
